It’s no secret that being involved in a car accident can be a frightening experience. In addition to physical injuries, a car accident can also lead to psychological trauma for the survivors and unequivocal loss to the families whose loved ones die in such an unexpected and untimely manner.
In an unfortunate case near Vaughn, Montana, one person died in a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 15. The car accident involved a Subaru Legacy and a Ford pickup truck. The collision caused one vehicle to catch fire and the other to roll over. The Subaru driver reportedly passed away as a result of injuries suffered in the crash, while the pickup driver was taken to hospital.
The pickup driver’s condition was not reported, and the total number of people involved in the accident was not known at the time of a local report. Police were still investigating.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the pickup was heading south on I-15 before drifting into the northbound lane of traffic where the head-on collision occurred.
If you have been a victim of a serious car accident, or if you have lost a loved one in a crash, it may be a good idea to look into the available legal options for achieving some measure of justice. No legal action can bring back a lost loved one, but some families do find that a claim of wrongful death can help in covering the cost of medical bills, lost wages, funeral costs and other expenses resulting from the fatal crash.
