Car accidents: Crash kills 2, leaves 1 with severe injuries

Reacting to the decisions of another driver can be difficult at times, and in some cases, the maneuvers one is forced to make to avoid a collision could create an unfortunate scenario. Car accidents in which a vehicle is forced off the side of the road run the risk of placing the well-being of those involved in harm’s way. Two individuals died and another suffered injuries during a recent collision involving a similar scenario in Montana.

Law enforcement agents reportedly responded to the scene of the crash on a recent Friday morning. According to reports, the accident took place when a vehicle entered the opposite lane of traffic while attempting to pass a second vehicle. The driver of a car in the oncoming lane was reportedly forced to swerve out of the path of the first vehicle and after leaving the road, the car went airborne and rolled over several times before coming to a halt.

Authorities advised that all three of the occupants of the car were ejected from within the vehicle in the process. Two of them were reportedly pronounced dead at the scene while the other was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. While an investigation into the crash remains underway, police have advised that speeding and impairment are suspected factors.

Those who suffer severe harm or loss in car accidents due to the negligent decisions of another driver may wish to exercise their rights to seek restitution. Since the civil justice system can be complex, a person in Montana could benefit from retaining the services of an attorney for assistance early in the process. This type of guidance could help a person better prepare to seek the full amount of compensation deserved through a claim against the party deemed at fault.
