Car accidents: 2 injured, 1 killed in rear-end collision

There are a variety of scenarios in which a serious collision can occur, and such an incident can take place at any given moment. All car accidents run the risk of leaving those involved with injuries and facing a long road to recovery or, in some cases, searching for answers after the untimely passing of someone close. A recent rear-end accident in Montana has reportedly left two individuals with severe injuries and claimed the life an 82-year-old man.

Law enforcement agents say they responded to reports of the accident just before 1:30 p.m. on a recent Monday. According to reports, the crash occurred when the driver of a southbound truck came across another vehicle parked in the road. The truck reportedly collided with the rear-end of the second vehicle shortly thereafter.

The driver of the second vehicle was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, while a passenger in this vehicle was transported to a hospital with injuries. The driver of the truck also suffered injuries in the crash and was rushed to a medical facility for treatment. While an investigation into the incident is underway, no further information was provided as to what might have caused it to occur.

Car accidents can have devastating results and suffering serious harm or losing a loved one under similar circumstances can be a harrowing experience. Those who encounter similar hardships following a major collision could choose to consult with an attorney for guidance on their available legal avenues. An attorney can evaluate the circumstances a client in Montana is facing and assist in pursuing the restitution deserved through a claim against the party deemed responsible.
